I'm really looking forward to Gears 3. I can't even play Gears 2 anymore. I've just played it too many times. I'm ready for a new campaign to play some online co-op.
I heard Cliffy B kills Dom on an escort missiomn, and then Coletrain crashes in a light bike race and they have to rebuild a bionic verison of him who ends up turning to the Dark Side and fighting alongside the Locust Queen in the finale against Marcus and his father.

Sick trailer, getting anxious to see what the campaign will throw at us this time.
Inside word from am acquaintance of mine who has played through the campaign is that it won't disappoint.
I hear it's inspired by Pulp Fiction in the split overlapping narrative style.
