Speaking of expectations of future happiness. This is a worthy follow up and reminds me that Criterion's new racing game is out very soon and, having played some Pursuit mode again in Burnout 2 recently, no matter what the game is like, I will find some enjoyment out of it.
You could say the open world vs close circuit racing is an example of the irreversible choice leading to a happier result. Too many chances to go different directions means you will always questions if you went the right way or not and be less happy about the outcome.
There is a DEMO out on October 26th - EA love their Tuesdays don't they?
