Yeah, Bossfight did a great job. There are dozens of covers of this track, and although I like some of the guitar based ones, nothing can touch a square wave for capturing the feel of the original. What Bossfight did was simply bring out the music inside the blips and bleeps. As primitive as it was, its still pretty amazing what people were able to do with the NES sound chip, and even more amazing how a fresh generation are still inspired by it 25 years later.
