I really like the Pestilence effect watching the films back, you can't see it yourself when playing, unless you stop and look down at the trail of drips you leave behind :)

I'll look out for you Blank, need to play some RDR Undead too if you have that.

For a pretty weak Halo player such as myself its great to watch a video like this, I learn so much about how the game is played properly.

The problem is, for me these things arent instinctual and they havent been practiced enough to where I can pull them off without thinking about it, I would have to consider and plan - and in battle there is often no time for that.

I dont think anyone was just born great at anything - you are born with potential and its all what you make of it. What you see in this video is someone who has spent thousands of hours polishing that potential into masterful skill.

Which poses a question:

Bender, do you think you are still getting better at Halo? Also, what do you want to see out of the next Halo game?

For the next Halo game I want to to stay Halo, not be dragged more into GRAWCODMWBLOPSR6V2MOHBF2 gritty style. We have all those games for that style of play, Halo is a good addition. It's really taken a lot of people by surprise and turned off a lot of them. The pop of Halo Reach at any one time is barely over 100,000. Often under 50,000 during Uk daytime.

You're definitely not a weak player Chronic. Trust me, I've had far too many bad teammates to prove it. Though I guess that should be a compliment if it thinks the fairest match is me with the worst player.

This version was a big change so no matter how good or bad you were you had to start learning again. My advantage is that I learn fast and get the knowledge of the map layouts and weapons and then how other people behave with them.

compared to a regular upward curve/line. The longer time goes on the less I improve compared to everyone else.

But that's with everything staying the same. Just this week they changed Elite Slayer so Armour Lock's loadout doesn't have a needler and all of them only have 1 sticky not two. So people have to adapt again and figure out a different way to deal with encounters.

The scale of the time on that graph is not right really btw, the shooting up to 95% is only the first week or so, the tailing off is fast for a bit then takes longer.

I get a lot of instinctive responses and intuition as to what people are going to do or what is going to happen next, more so than I can take advantage of. So what would make me a better Halo player is better execution of what I 'plan'.

I'm not actually so keen on this vid skill-wise looking back now. It was really mostly just showing the outcomes rather than the actual play by play best action.

Parts like picking up the sniper and going right for a headshot or catching the smallest pixel view and killing the guy in Swat were good. I have more deliberate moments/kills that show more planned and executed things that I like more. For a future vid...
