There is no Ukranian pizza in NYC. But if you goto Joe's on Carmine and 6th Ave, one of the best slice spots in the city, he will make anything for you. My friend wanted a special pie from her homeland, so we brought a couple special ingredients and he made us a unique Ukranian style pizza. Chicken, pineapple, mushrooms, corn, extra cheese, and most importantly, the cheese must be placed ON TOP of the toppings, not under it.
The taste is hard to describe, but it was amazing.
The owner, Joe, was so taken with our request that he accepted our offer of tasting a slice. In NYC, anything is possible, even the craziest pizza they invented on the other side of the world. We ate it on the grass in Washington Square Park with a bottle of Chardonnay, watching the sunset on a warm summer night.
99% of the time I get pizza plain or with 1 topping but hey, You Only Live Once.

Ahh, yes that all sounds good. Great choice of toppings but I'm not sure I've ever seen the cheese on top method.
